Today we divided the group into two taking Joy and my three kids over to La Molina Christian School for them to get to know the school. We left the house at 6:00am, drove for around an hour and then dropped them off at the school. I then returned to the house to pick up the rest of the group and take them back to continue working in Pachacutec. After building one more wood panel wall, we were able to place the completed wall in the front of the property giving it a little more of a finished look. We also helped mixing concrete and filling the holes we dug yesterday to build two columns for the entry way.

After lunch, I returned to LMCS to pick up Joy and my kids. On the way home, we had an issue with the tire on the combi and took a taxi the rest of the way home. I had a good opportunity to talk to the taxi driver and witness to him. When we arrived back home to drop off Joy and the kids off at home, the driver told me that he appreciated the talk and how I had made him think about things in a different way than he was used to thinking.

I then took a taxi to Pachacutec to organize the group to get them home. On my way there, I started witnessing to Perci, my taxi driver. My original plan was to divide the group into two and send the first group with my driver and then get another taxi and bring them home. Since we had not finished our conversation, I asked Perci if he would be willing to wait for me as I found another taxi and then we could finish our conversation. He agreed to wait and after a short wait, we sent the first group home. I then started back with the second group and continued the conversation. I had made it through the good person test as well as the gospel but was still trying to answer some of his other questions when we got pulled over by the police at a traffic checkpoint. It turns out that his license to operate as a taxi driver had expired as well as his driver's license. The police were going to take him back to the police station so we had to get out and find another taxi to take us the rest of the way home. Please pray for Perci that he will remember what we had talked about and that God will use it for him to come to a saving knowledge of God.

After eating a good dinner prepared for us by Rosa and her sister, our Peruvian cooks and helpers, we were able to relax during the evening and review what all we had been able to do over the last few days.
