We arrived at the airport in Lima, on time at 4:15 am at the airport and were able to get through immigration very quickly. We did have to wait for our luggage as ours was almost the last on the plane, but it did all arrive safely. We then met one of the pastors with whom we will be working and loaded our baggage into a "combi" that we had hired to transport us. We arrived at the house where will be staying around 6:30  am. After unloading our luggage and getting settled in, we each were able to sleep to make up for the overnight flight.

In the afternoon we had a good lunch provided for us by the family with whom we are staying. We then went for a walk around the area to find a few key locations such as the internet place where I was able to send a quick update.

Sunday evening, we went to a local church where we were just participants in the service instead of actually doing anything for the service.
After walking back home, we had the opportunity to discuss what lies ahead and then go to bed to get some rest for the next day's projects.
