Monday morning we needed to leave at 6:30 in order to arrive on time to La Molina Christian School where we were scheduled to have chapel at 8:00 am. Our driver arrived a little late and then we made a wrong turn, so we did not arrive on time. The school was very understanding though and we were able to do a shortened presentation with them.

We then headed over to Fetzer Memorial Christian Academy to assist them with preparations for their 25th anniversary celebration. We were each assigned different tasks such as sanding down some soccer goals and repainting them, painting the entryway, painting the basketball court backboards and stands, and other general cleaning. As things get very dusty, everything had to be dusted very well before painting. Everything seemed to take longer than expected as the materials that we had to work with were somewhat limited. At the end of the day, however, we had been able to make some good progress to completing their wish list for the anniversary celebration.

We then returned home for supper and to get some rest.
