As we headed out the door for a day of school presentations in Tahuantinsuyo, Emily and Debbie were not feeling well, so they decided that they would stay home for a little while. The rest of us went to a private school where we were able to present our program. After the presentation, I had the opportunity to talk to one of the teachers who is a Christian and has started a discipleship group in the school. She was very encouraged to see teens who were willing to serve the Lord the way that our group was doing.

We had a little time before our next presentation so we headed to the home of a lady in the church that we were working with for the school presentations. While there, we called back home to see how Debbie and Emily were doing and since they were doing better, we sent the van out to pick them up so they could join us for the next presentation.

The next school was a larger public school. The previous week they had to postpone their father's day program and they invited us to be part of the program. We were to start at 11 but they did not start the program until 11:45 and did not turn it over to us until 12:15. We had another school presentation that was scheduled to start at 12:30 at a different school, so we abbreviated our program but still included a strong gospel presentation to the students and to the parents that were present.

After we were done, we packed up the sound system and quickly made our way to the next place. Since we were late, we only had time for a 15 minute presentation. It was a presentation to a small group of students in one of the classrooms. We sang a couple of songs and did one of the skits and then I gave them the Good Person Test.

After lunch, we returned to the last school for another presentation to a different group of students. This time, we had the full time to do our presentation. It was well received with several of the students signing up to receive more information from the church and inquiring about the services of the church. I enjoyed getting to know some of the workers of the Tahuantinsuyo church and to see them making contacts that, Lord willing, will lead to lasting fruit.

We then returned home for supper and a little break before heading back out for another church presentation. We arrived at 7:30 for an 8:00 pm service. After setting up the sound system, the team went out with a few members of the church to hand out some tracts and flyers. We had a good service presenting the RCCR method of witnessing.

After the service, I had the opportunity to talk to the pastor of the church where we had been on Wednesday night. Since ne had missed the service in his church while being away to minister in the jungle, he had come to see our presentation. He was very pleased and invited us to consider going with him in the future into the jungle to do our presentation. The Lord has blessed his ministry as he has started working with a couple of tribes in the jungle taking missions trips every three months to take some native men some resources for studying the Bible by independent study. He goes up, gives them tests, and then leaves them with more resources to study as they prepare themselves to minister among their own people. Their desire is to start a solid church in each of the smaller towns that are up and down the river in the jungle. Please pray for Pastor Tomas Urbina and his church as they continue their work in spreading the gospel in the jungles of Peru.
