I had originally planned on speaking about families in the morning and True and False Conversions in the evening but I wound up switching the two. During the morning service, many of the volleyball players from the day before came as guests. Lindsey and I were still struggling with our voices as colds were setting in, but God allowed us to make it through the presentation.
During the afternoon, we cleaned and packed getting ready for our eventual departure. It was nice though not having to rush around as we have in previous years when we were scheduled to leave for the airport immediately after the evening service.
There were a good number of people present for the evening service though many of those present were women and children. The church really needs to have more men who are willing to serve God. Since this would be our last presentation, we had each of the team members come up and we gave the opportunity for the church people to ask some questions of them. I translated the questions and answers for them. I also had each of the team members share one thing that they had learned while on this missions trip. The majority response was how God how taught them to focus on others and that God can use us even when we do not feel adequate. We need to be willing to be stretched.
I was not sure if my voice would hold out for the songs and the message but God allowed me to make it through it all. After the service, many people wanted their picture taken with our group so we got to pose and hold our smile for some time. Some of the pictures turned out quite funny as we were not always sure when the picture was going to be taken.
