After several days of busy schedules, this day was intended to be more relaxed. After letting everyone sleep in, and getting caught up with some emails, we went to the open-air market to hand out tracts. We divided into two groups and walked along both sides of the market. Aswe were going through, I stopped to talk to a lady who was watching one of the soccer World Cup games. She saw some of the guys handing out tracts and asked why she didn't get one. I then gave her one and talked to her for about 5 minutes. I was able to take her through the good person test and then invite her to church this Sunday.

As I was finishing talking to her, Chris came up and mentioned that there was someone else that they had given a tract and was asking questions. I went with Chris and started talking to the young man. As I talked to him at his fruit stand and took him through the good person test, each of the vendors on each side of his stand was also very attentive to what I was saying. I talked to them for about 10 minutes and also invited them to church this Sunday.

As soon as I finished talking to them, Chris had somebody else ready for me. An elderly lady wanted to state her opinion of how she did not believe that the Bible was true but that she was catholic. I did not get anywhere with her as she contradicted herself many times, but a lady in the stand behind her was listening and I was able to continue talking to her after the elderly lady left. I also took her through the good person test (in picture) and she was attentive and receptive.

After talking with her, I talked to a man at a rice stand (in picture). He was also very attentive as was a young man, possibly his son, who was listening when he came in a couple minutes after I started talking to the rice vendor.

As I was talking to all these people, the rest of the group handed out over 400 tracts and then went through the market singing a few songs. We then returned home for a relaxing evening.

Though we did not do any formal presentations during this day, we were still able to share the gospel with many people. Who knows how the seeds that we planted on this day will be used by God.
