After two work days, today we started with school presentations. In the morning we had a presentation in a small private school where we had the chance to present the gospel and talk to the students. At the end, the director thanked us and had each of the students come through and say goodbye and thank you to each of us. They had been very attentive and it was a good way to start this summer's round of school presentations.

After a break, we then headed out to a public school for another presentation. This was the same school where two years ago we had gone to do a presentation and they canceled it after we had arrived. This time, we were allowed to present the gospel and the students were very attentive and receptive to us.

Our next presentation was scheduled for a market but we had a little time to kill. We drove down to the beach where some of the team got to stick their feet into the Pacific Ocean. Nobody fell in or got soaked this year which was good as they would have been miserable the rest of the afternoon.

We arrived at a local market a little after 4:00 pm and were able to setup our sound system in the center of the market and start our program. As we began to sing, about 50 people stopped to listen. As some of them would leave others would stop and listen. We did have a group of about 40 who stayed through the whole gospel presentation. Afterwards we told them that if they wanted to receive a tract that reinforced what we had talked about to just ask one of the team members. I also told them that if they had any questions they could stick around and talk to the pastor or to me. We gave out many tracts and then also had the chance to talk to several adults who had been attentively listening. Carlos was one of the men who had stopped with his family to listen and was very receptive to our message. (He is the guy with the beard and orange shirt in the fourth picture.) We introduced them to the pastor and invited him and his family to come to the church services. While I was finishing talking to them, another guy called me over to talk to me about his life. He has been struggling with his past lifestyle and trying to do what is right. I shared with him the gospel and asked him if he had a Bible. He did not, so I told him that I would buy him one and leave it at the church for him to pick up. Please pray for David that he will truly seek after God and grow in His relationship with Him.

We stayed around the market until around 5:30 pm and then, after picking up some fresh bread from a bakery, we headed back home for dinner and some rest.
