June 25th-26th, Mon & Tues
After the house was taken care of and we were packed, we headed out to get some lunch and complete a couple of shopping lists. We then returned to my Mom and Dad's house and rested for a little while before eating supper and then departing for the airport. We had been using a Suburban for some of our travels and packed it with all of our stuff as well as 6 of our team members. Three of us then caught a taxi to take us to the airport. I had the opportunity to talk to Ivan our taxi driver. As we started to talk, he seemed resistive to the idea of his being a sinner but he seemed to come to the realization that he was indeed in need of a Savior. When it was time for us to get out of the taxi, he was very grateful for our conversation and for what I had shared with him. Please pray that God will use the conversation to bring Ivan to a saving knowledge of Him.
After standing in line to check in, we got a little to eat and then headed through security. Our plane was a little late leaving Lima but our flight was uneventful and we landed in Atlanta on time. After clearing immigration and customs we went to our gate and had about an hour wait before departing for Baltimore. Once again the flight went well and we arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule. Several family members were waiting for us as we arrived and they helped us collect all of our luggage and head back home to Pennsylvania.
Thank you all for your prayer and financial support. With your help, we were able to present the gospel doing 15 school presentations to over 7,500 students, 10 church presentations, and a full-day youth conference. We also were able to hand out over 1000 tracts and talk to many people one-on-one. Only God knows how He will use what we did over these last two weeks. You are a large part of anything that was accomplished.
