Friday morning we headed back to Los Sureños for continued work projects. Our original plan was to be doing school presentations with a different church but they had not gotten back to us to finalize the arrangements. We then made arrangements to fill the time but were not able to get into any schools at such a short notice.

The crushed rocks that had been ordered the other day had arrived and we needed to transfer them to the inside of the property (so that they would not be stolen) as the wood framing for the cement foundation was being set. The girls helped move some of the larger rocks, finish the placing of verses on the walls, as well as going to the market with the pastor to buy food for the noon meal. The girls also had the opportunity to go to an internet kiosk during the morning while the guys went in the afternoon.

On one of the trips to the market, they handed out tracts to the people in the market to plant the seed of the gospel.

After returning home to get cleaned up and rest for a little while, we returned to Los Sureños for our service. Luke was feeling run down and we decided it would be best to let him get some sleep. Debbie also was not feeling well, so she stayed home with him.

That evening we had a good church service except for the fact that on one of the songs I went blank on one of the songs. We stopped and then finally I was able to get going again. It was just a reminder that we should never rely on our own strength to do God's work. We must constantly be depending on Him or He will prove to us that we need Him. I used my blunder to remind myself and the congregation of that fact. The message that evening asked "Are You Christ's Friend?" and it was based on John 15:9-17.
