My main ministry in Lima would be to assist local churches with the training of teachers  and the development of curriculum for the growing Christian school movement. My goal would be to partner with other missionaries in Lima who have started the process of developing a solid Christian curriculum for Peru. I would also conduct seminars to help train Christian school teachers in a Christian philosophy and methods of education. These teachers would then be able to strengthen their respective churches in accomplishing the task of training their children.

My wife and I have always been active in our local church. Debbie has served as an AWANA Sparks leader and director, as well as assisted with other children’s ministries. I have helped with the youth group, served as an AWANA leader, co-taught the young married class and served as a deacon. We would continue to be active in the local church in Lima teaching Sunday school and helping with other ministries as we have done here.

Another goal for my ministry in Lima would be to assist local churches with outreach programs in schools, open-air meetings, and biblical leadership training. God has allowed me to gain experience with these types of ministries as I have lead missions teams to Peru and have also conducted leadership conferences for our school’s high school Student Service and Leadership Team for the last five years.
